I have been a Reading resident with my family since 1994 and have served as a Town Meeting member continuously since 2005. I am currently a member of the Recreation Committee and was on the Historical Commission. I believe in the "representation" of Representative Town Meeting, and I am always open to hearing from residents in my precinct. I attend many Finance Committee, Select Board, CPDC, and other meetings to contribute and stay informed of matters that will come before Town Meeting.

I have been an active Reading volunteer for 5 years and I love this community! I am an educator at RMHS where my son is also a freshman. I have enjoyed giving back to the community in a number of ways including volunteering as the photographer for the RMHS freshman football team and leading the CATO tour. In 2021, I was appointed to the Human Relations Advisory Committee and now serve as Chairwoman. I am excited to join Town Meeting and ask for your vote on April 5th.

I have been a Town Meeting member since 1980. I have served on the RMLD Board of Commissioners for 35 years and are running for reelection to that position. I bring experience and knowledge. I am in a unique position. I am a former Chair of both the Finance Committee and the Bylaw Committee. I have serve on a Charter update committee. So I have seen Town Meeting matters from many sides. Finally over the past several years I have provided the opening prayer that leads off Town Meeting.

I have lived in Reading since 2013 and have loved raising my two kids here. I'm hoping to join Town Meeting to help Reading continue to thrive as a community. I'm an elementary school teacher, a good listener, and a natural problem solver. I care about ensuring that Reading Schools have the resources they need, finding ways to use public space for the greatest good, and making sure that all people in Reading have their voices heard.

The best is last! My name, Nancy Ziemlak, is at very bottom of the list of Precinct 5 candidates for Town Meeting. I want you to know that I support well planned growth for Reading, a safe and welcoming Senior Center, green initiatives, well funded schools and a strong business community. Iām last on the ballot but will be first in supporting Reading as we move forward.
