Precinct 4

Town Meeting

(3 year term - pick 8)

ERIC JOSHUA GAFFEN

I’m a 19 year resident of Reading and hope to receive your vote for town meeting! I’ve been a town meeting member for 5+ years, on the Recreation Committee for 3+ years and spent dozens and dozens of seasons coaching soccer, basketball, baseball and lacrosse. Giving back to our community is a privilege and a role that I take seriously. Thank you!

ERIN E GAFFEN

I’m a 19 year Reading resident, raising 3 kids here. I serve as a School Committee member (2yr) and on TM (3yr). I volunteer extensively with the schools and other groups. I believe in giving back to my community. Reading gives my family so much, especially the wonderful friends and neighbors, excellent schools, and many resources in town. As a TM member I strive to carefully consider each vote, listen to and learn from others, and help ensure Reading is a safe and welcoming community for all.

EMILY G JAMES

A current Town Meeting member and parent of 3 young children, I hope to continue representing Precinct 4 as a voice in favor of supporting and strengthening our schools, our downtown, and our community so Reading remains a town we are all proud to live in and where all feel welcome. I serve as Community Service Co-Chair for the Joshua Eaton PTO, spent 3 years as a member of the Women's League of Reading, and served as Precinct 4 Captain for the successful Yes for Reading campaign in 2018.

JUDITH NEELY COLTMAN

I have lived in Reading since 1985. My husband and I raised our 2 sons here and they recieved an excellent education in the Reading Public Schools.  I’ve been involved in several community groups: a board member of the Friends of the Reading Public Library, a long time volunteer at the Reading Food Pantry, a member of Reading Composts!, and a board member of Reading Pickleball Players Association.  I look forward to the opportunity to represent Precinct 4 at Town Meeting.  If elected, I welcome inputs from all those in Precinct 4 on issues that come before Town Meeting.
