Since I have been a resident of Reading, I had a very difficult time finding information on individuals running for Town Meetings. This website was made in 2021, allowing Town Meeting candidates to submit their own statements, to be viewed by residents. By popular request, other local election races (Select Board, School Committee, etc.) in Reading have also been added.

How is this website paid for:
I pay for it out of pocket. Early on, I made the decision to avoid advertisements, solicitations, or requests for donations. If you do find the website useful and are feeling generous, please consider donating to The Reading Food Pantry (Link)

Is the website biased:
Not really. Each candidate submits their own statements, and I upload them. The website intentionally has no other content.

Is there a conflict of interest:
I do not believe so. In the spirit of full transparency, I am a member of the Reading Climate Advisory Committee, as well as a Town Meeting Member for Precinct 7. However, I do not profit from the website, I do not promote one candidate over another, I do not advocate for any specific policy, nor do I advertise on the site.
