Since moving here in 1996, I have loved working with others to serve my community. This includes 6 years on Town Meeting & the School Committee; chairing the Human Relations Advisory Committee; hosting METCO Pool Parties & serving on School Councils that educated my 3 children well. I have organized many town/school/family partnerships. Please help me continue to listen, learn, & apply my experience & voice to making decisions that support my neighbors & town.

Mark Dockser here. My wife Linda and I have lived at 110 Beaver Road for 28 years. I have been very engaged in supporting the residents of Reading serving on Town Meeting, the Finance Committee and now the Select Board. I work hard to understand and act on the issues we face as a community, and I advocate strongly for the interests of Precinct 1. I believe you can make an impact and one of the most effective ways is through your local community. Since moving here in 1993 I have chosen to be involved in Reading. Whether it be in PTO at Killam/Coolidge/RMHS, Old South Church committees/teaching and 9 year FinCom member along with Town Meeting member for many years, I enjoy bringing people together to work for a common good. I approach issues in a reasonable, collaborative manner, making sure everyone feels heard and respected.
